  • The root of our sadness: In Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna says to Arjuna that the root of our sadness is our ignorance. If we aren't aware of the difference between what is permanent and what is temporary, we tend to be insecure and fall into despair.

  • Beware of desires: Desires make us uneasy and can hide our strengths. It is normal to desire, but becoming overly focused on the accomplishment of these desires can lead us to problems. If a desire is triggered in you, take note of it, take the necessary thing, and don't be concerned about the result.

  • Control of the senses: Our senses are always taking our minds to the outside. For instance, if, for example, you are craving ice cream, your brain is preparing, what kind you should buy, what to purchase, and so on, but fails to know the cause of the desire.

  • Trigunas and the mind: Our body and mind are controlled by trigunas: Sattva (positive energy) as well as the rajas (restlessness) and the tamas (inertia). While tribunals are vital however if there are too excessive tamas or rajas we can become bored and depressed.

The aim of Bhagavad Gita's message is to lift the human spirit and lead a life to the fullest. However, many of us believe it is Bhagavad Gita is just an old man's friend. If we are able to comprehend the meaning of the Bhagavad Gita prior to launching the battles of life, we can live an easy and pleasant life.
